If only I could freeze time capturing those perfect moments

Prolonging the seconds, if only several minutes longer

Allowing the inner peace, contentment and joy

that overtakes me to resonate within the very depths of my being.

If only I could press pause to linger a little while longer

allowing my mind to capture vivid images

tattooing extraordinary memories and emotions to my heart.

If only my mind and heart functioned as digital cameras only capturing

moments I’d never want to forget storing them away for rainy days.

  1. We all feel an acute desire to just hold on to some fragments of our life dearly because we’re afraid we’ll never have the same kind of magic twice.
